  Drawing inspiration from classic science fiction, horror, and fantasy, Simulated Beings is a music project that also ties in a strong, intriguing visual presence. The music pulls influences from across several genres but is most often grouped with synthwave, witch house, and gothic electronic styles and the aesthetic follows. This isn't a case of style overwhelming substance, however; frontman and main being Michael Dorian Stanley is a classically trained drummer, and plays all instruments in the recording, as well as completing the recording, mixing, and mastering process solo. He believes that while style is important, it's vital that the technical abilities match that 

extreme and works hard to ensure that is the case.
